Single Engine Piston Land Revalidation

Description

Revalidation of licences for single-engine piston aircraft used for landing on land is a process that pilots must undergo in order to maintain their privileges to fly this type of aircraft. In aviation, SEPL revalidation is required because aviation certificates have a specific validity period, after which pilots must prove that they still have the necessary skills and knowledge to fly safely.

Under the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) rules, it includes certain requirements that pilots must meet in order to renew their privileges to fly single-engine piston aeroplanes.

If a pilot fails to meet the minimum flight hour requirements, he or she must undergo a proficiency check flight with an examiner. The examiner will assess the pilot’s skills in flight operations, navigation and emergency procedures.

Aero Poznan offers support every step of the way to refresh these ratings. Our team of experienced instructors and examiners are ready to help you meet all the requirements so you can continue flying safely.
