Emergency landing without a PPL(A)
A pilot is only human and, as a result of an unforeseen event such as a fainting spell, may be unable to fly the aircraft. In such a case, another person must take control of the machine and bring it safely down to earth avoiding an emergency situation – all thanks to the use of the CAPS parachute system.
The most important element of Partner in Command Training is the practical learning of CAPS deployment procedures. By using our advanced Cirrus SR Series simulator, you will be able to practice a crisis situation in practice – gaining valuable experience to keep your cool in a real emergency.
What will you learn?
During the course you will also learn the principles of in-flight radio correspondence, including; key information on the correct use of the radio and Mayday Maydan and PAN PAN PAN procedures.
