Hot Weather Operations – Flying in high temperatures

Description

Hot Weather Operations is a specialised training aimed at Cirrus SR aircraft pilots who want to broaden their skills and knowledge of flight operations in particularly hot weather. The training includes theory and practice on the specifics of high temperature flight taking into account also the unique features of Cirrus SR aircraft.

During the training, participants will gain an understanding of the effects of hot air on engine performance, flight characteristics, as well as pilot and passenger comfort and safety. We will discuss in detail topics such as cooling system operation, engine power management, take-off and landing procedures and emergency management.

Our training is delivered by experienced and certified Cirrus Aircraft instructors who combine theory and practice to provide comprehensive and realistic preparation for flight operations.
