High Altitude Operations | Aero Poznań

Description

High Altitude Operations training is dedicated to aircraft pilots wishing to explore aspects of high altitude flight. The training programme covers both theory and practical application of operational techniques necessary for safe flight.

During the training, trainees will learn advanced techniques for managing on-board systems at high altitude, practise appropriate flight techniques in reduced atmospheric pressure conditions and the principles of effective flight energy management.

The training covers both aerodynamic aspects of high-altitude flight and effective techniques for using on-board automation to optimise it. We also emphasise the role of precise planning in the context of the unique challenges posed by this type of travel.

Using our advanced Cirrus SR Series simulator, trainees have the opportunity to practise procedures, manoeuvres and emergency situations. This simulator perfectly replicates flight conditions, providing the opportunity to practice energy management, navigation and communication techniques, as well as emergency manoeuvres in a controlled and safe environment.

An excellent complement to the training is the Hypoxia Awareness Training, during which the student has the opportunity to learn about the dangers of hypoxia during flight, through the use of the ROBD2 apparatus and the Cirrus SR Series flight simulator.
