About Emergency Survival training VFR Course
Malfunctions and in-flight accidents, although rare – do occur. Incidents are also caused by pilot error.
The training course, however, will teach you how to correctly assess the situation and effectively manage the risk depending on the circumstances and the nature of the problem the pilot has to face.
Using the Cirrus SR Series simulator, we simulate various scenarios, including those related to specific pieces of equipment, remotely shutting them down or subjecting them to gradual degradation.
During ESC training, Through this, the pilot learns the correct reactions, procedures and habits – often critical to survival, all during dynamic, realistic missions in a controlled environment.
Learn how to use the CAPS parachute system under VFR conditions
Risk management, as well as the activation of CAPS, the emergency parachute system for the entire aircraft, depends on many factors, including those related to weather.
ESC – VFR Operations training focuses on the pilot’s practical preparation for the various scenarios that could jeopardise the safety of the crew in flight. During theory and simulator sessions, the student will learn how to recognise and respond to emergency situations, including activation of the CAPS system.
