In IFR conditions, the pilot relies almost exclusively on instruments, and any fault, even a seemingly harmless one, can contribute to a situation threatening his safety. Cirrus Aircraft is equipped with a parachute system for the entire aircraft – CAPS, the activation of which significantly increases the chance of avoiding a dangerous accident. Its correct activation, however, depends on a number of factors.

The ESC – IFR Operations training course focuses on the practical preparation of the pilot for a variety of scenarios that could jeopardise the safety of the crew in flight, with additional emphasis on correct actions during the hazards associated with IFR operations including – CAPS activation.

Aircraft malfunctions and incidents are rare but can occur, often due to pilot error.

Our training will provide you with the skills to assess the situation and manage the risk effectively, depending on the specifics and type of challenges you may encounter in flight

Using the Cirrus SR Series simulator, we create a variety of scenarios, including those involving specific pieces of equipment that may experience failure

During the ESC course, pilots learn appropriate responses, procedures and develop key habits that are often crucial to survival, all within dynamic and realistic exercises in a safe, controlled environment.
