Adding this qualification to a PPL(A) makes flight planning and monitoring easier. If you want to fully use your aircraft as a comfortable and fast means of transportation without fighting bad weather or becoming an expert at restricted areas, EIR is a perfect choice. It is also the first step to a full IR qualification.
